Leo Fillioux
PhD Student — CentraleSupélec — Deep Learning, Computer Vision
I am a last year PhD student (2023-2026) in CentraleSupélec and Université Paris-Saclay (in the ßiomathematics team). I am supervised by Maria Vakalopoulou, Stergios Christodoulidis, and Paul-Henry Cournède. From September to December 2025, I was invited to visit the LIVIA and ILLS labs in Montréal under the supervision of Jose Dolz.
My main focus is on computer vision and medical imaging. During my PhD, I have had projects in various domains, including adapters, calibration, and VLMs.
I am currently looking for a postdoc, ideally with a focus on multi-modal learning.
I got my Master’s degree in engineering from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) and from Georgia Tech. I then studied AI at CentraleSupélec. Prior to my PhD, I also worked for two years as a deep learning engineer, focusing on histopathology.
